our ethical model
Created in 2025, the Reciprocal Perception and Care Model was developed by founder and Executive Director, Leah Buzek. This model reframes the ethics of care through a simple but profound claim: the moment we perceive one another, we enter into a mutual obligation of care.
Perception creates vulnerability. When we are vulnerable to each other, we carry responsibilities toward each other. Through this lens, every person is both obligated to care for others and entitled to be cared for by their community.
IncuBrighter’s work is built on this foundation. We create, support, and uplift programs shaped by this ethical model; programs that empower people, strengthen communities, and raise the collective standard of care.
At the core of our mission is a straightforward belief: your humanity is enough. You belong. You deserve to be valued by the community you live in.
